Description

Provide direct engineering support for mobile device digital forensic exploitation and analysis.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborating with customer technical exploitation teams to define clear requirements, performance specifications and milestones for applications.

Creating and documenting parsers to decode data as stored by mobile devices into prescribed human and machine readable formats

Supporting field operations requiring analysis

Enhancing existing GOTS or COTS software applications in Python, Java, C++, and C#.

Providing suggested solutions for system and/or application issues

and development.

Providing written reports and presentations on the analysis of applications and associated tools

Conducting and documenting vulnerability assessments of mobile device applications

Releasing tools in accordance with customer defined methods

Candidates must be familiar with all major mobile OS platforms (Android and iOS), have experience reverse engineering APK's, have the ability to fluently write code in both Python and Java, and have the ability to decode unknown/proprietary file system architecture from binary files.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen with a TOP SECRET security clearance (no exceptions)

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Computer Engineering

Must have an extensive understanding of all mobile OS platforms (both Android and iOS) and a passion for mobile device technology

Must have experience reverse engineering software packages using IDA Pro, PyDbg, or OllyDbg

Must have experience using forensic software packages such as EnCase or FTK

Must be extremely comfortable using hex editors and working at the binary level

Must possess the ability to decode unknown/proprietary file system architecture from binary files and write parsers to extract critical data into human readable formats for analysis. 

Must have had a minimum graduating GPA of 3.25

Must possess extremely strong software development skills

Must be comfortable operating in a mission-critical and time-sensitive environment
